    Display age of files

I'm looking for a utility that will group the "age" of files stored on our Storage Area Network, to show "Management" why we need to have Hierachical Storage Management. By this I mean that it can display the number of files and their sizes in various age bands, such a 0-1 days, 1-7 days, 8-30 days, 30-90 days, and so on up to something like "older than 4 years", probably based on "modification date".

I've played with More Space, but I'm not entirely convinced that its results are accurate.

Is anyone aware of another such utility? Thanks!

Do sellers of HSM products offer such a tool in their evaluation kits? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Maybe it's another job for VBScript!

Well, funny you should suggest that, because that is exactly what happened! <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23>

A bit cheapskate to suggest a shareware utility, I thought ...!
