    Windows explorer opens 'My Documents'

    Hello friends,
    For as long as I can remember, Explorer has taken it upon itself to open the "My Documents" folder. I have it on the Office toolbar, and an icon on the desktop, so when I go into explorer, it's to look for something on one of the hard disks; not gain access to documents. Ideally, I would like it to open my "C" drive, or just leave everything closed - saves a lot of unnecessary scrolling. Does anyone know how to change this?

    Yes!

    See 130510: Command-Line Switches for Windows Explorer
    (Ignore the fact it contains no reference to W2K)

    Basically, you need to create a shortcut containing:

    %SystemRoot%explorer.exe /n, /e,c:
    Attached Images Attached Images
    • File Type: gif x.gif (6.4 KB, 0 views)
