    Windows 98 WGPO User Limit?

Hi, does anybody know if there's some sort of limit in place when using a WGPO on a WIndows 98 PC? We've hit a problem in that what started out as a relatively small post office of about 50 people has grown to about 190 people using MS Mail around our place. Looking at Net Watcher I see that once we get to about 130 of the users logging on at any one time things start playing up in that nobody else can connect to the WGPO. I know we should probably be using Exchange on a W2K server etc but it's served us well for free inter-office mail for the past few years and I'm after a quick fix. I've set the "Typical role of this computer" to "Network server" in the "File System" settings under "Performance" but it hasn't made a blind bit of difference. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

Re: Windows 98 WGPO User Limit?

After much scouring I found the following solution (which seems to have worked ...) if anybody is interested. I added a String Value called "MaxConnections" and set it to equal 200 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesV xDMSTCP - found that info on http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/733
