Is there text in a Formfield? (Office 2002)

I have created a fill-in form in Word and written a macro to run on exit from a formfield but I only want it to run if there is text in the formfield. The text in the form field can vary. What is the statement that has to form part of the 'IF' statement to check for any text in the formfield that precedes the 'THEN' argument? It's really bugging me because I can't work this one out and at the moment the macro runs on exit irrespective of any text in there. Any guidance would be gratefully received.

Try looking at its .Result property, as in <!post=Post #183880,183880>Post #183880<!/post>, for example.
