    Windows Messenger

At someones suggestion I loaded Windows Messenger . Bad mistake! NOW I would like to get RID of it. Have tried the usual ADD/REMOVE but Windows Messenger is not listed. Also tried loading into the RUN window the following
    RunDLL32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%INFmsmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

That worked OK on another computer running Win XP Home version but when I try it on this Win98SE all I get is
    "Can't find the file"

Can anyone HELP me on this one.

    Thanx a bunch.

    Re: Windows Messenger

You can try this I think you can go to (Start>Run> type MSCONFIG) and disable from there, I don't use windows 98 any more so I don't have it on a computer to look at. Hope this helps.
