Sound Card item in system Tray

Hello, I just downloaded and installed a driver for an ESS 1938 SOLO integrated sound card. Everything went well but there is an system tray icon entitled ACOUTL.EXE - I can not find any information on this file in the usual STARTUP ITEMS INFO sites. Wonder if anyone knows what this does and if I need to let it startup with the computer. Thanks.

If you right-click it, or double-click it, does it let you shut it down or hide it? Some "playing with it" might be needed here. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>
