Doc name or path not valid (2002)

I have a rich text (.rtf) document created from a Crystal Report. The user can open it (word 2002), one of his associates can open it (word 2000), but the rest of the associates and me (support guy) cannot. The message is "The document name or path is invalid. Check the file permissions for the document or drive." and/or "Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document.
We have checked into permissions on the document and that doesn;t seem to be the issue.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Doc name or path not valid (2002)

Are they double clicking on the file from Explorer or are they using the File|Open dialog from Word?

If it is not opening when double clicked on from Explorer, have a look at <post#=214356>post 214356</post#> and follow the steps there, substituting RTF for Doc.
