Show second user as read (WIN XP PRo Outlook 2002 SP-2)

I have full delegated authority to my boss's Outlook which he very rarely uses. I print off all his emails (sweet old-fashioned thing that he is!) All emails addressed to him go into his box and into mine. I print, respond or forward his emails from my box. What I would like to know is if there is a way to show the emails in his box on my machine as read without me actually going into his box and clicking it.

I'm sorry that this is so long-winded and I hope it's clear what I want to do. I would appreciate any help.

If you have his mailbox in your folder view you can right click on his inbox and choose to mark all as read.

If you are just "opening another users folder" use the edit menu to select all, then Edit | mark as read.

    Fantastic - that's exactly what I needed (option 1).
    Thank you so much.
