Installing a local printer without admin rights

Is there a way to give a user the rights to add a local printer without giving them either PowerUser or Admin rights? We are running Windows 2000 Terminal Server, and any user that is in the PowerUser's group has the rights to reboot or shutdown the server. <img src=/S/yikes.gif border=0 alt=yikes width=15 height=15> We definitely don't want that, but we do want them to be able to install their local (home) printer.

    Thanks,
    Becky

You can try the group policy editor. Start | Run | gpedit.msc then look under User Configuration | Administrative templates | Comtrol Panel | Printers.

You should be able to give them "Local PowerUser" Rights which will not have server rights.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
