    Query (Access XP)

Is it possible to build a query based on number that can be found in a comment/meno field? Trying to crate a report where the number 1060 is found in a comment field.

If I understand you correctly, you want to display all records for which the memo field contains the number 1060. You can do this by using
    Like "*1060*"
as criterion. This will also findrecords containing 81060 or 10609 etc. If you want to find 1060 as a separate number, it's a bit more complicated, since it could be at the beginning or end of the field, or it could be followed by a period, etc.

To build on Hans' answer. If the 1060 is part of a sentence with spaces between the words, the Like ('* 1060*) or Like ('* 1060 *') may work better.
