    email from asp (2000)

When creating a .htm form in FrontPage, I can get the results emailed with no problem. When the page is saved not as .htm, but as .asp, the emailing and confirmation no longer works. This is puzzling because the Save As dialog in FrontPage lists .asp as an acceptable file extension. I would like to use .asp because I am passing variables from another page. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you.

Is the confirmation a different page or "self"? If you haven't tried a different confirmation page, try that (as .htm).

Thank you. I have tried a different confirmation page both as .asp and .htm. I'm wondering if it is that the initial page is .asp, whether anyone has been able to do that. Or it may be my installation.
