Does anyone have experience or know of online examples of using Access to interface with PLCs? I have found examples (in the Allen Bradley knowledgebase) that successfully allow me to use DDE to send data back and forth between Excel and my AB PLC5 using only RSLinx, but the Access examples don't seem to work. The data I want to send is currently stored in Access, and I wanted to avoid having to export to a third software package like Excel or RSView. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We send data to AB 5000 series plc's to run a machine we manufacture. I am sure that the data is sent via ethernet connection to the PLC. I will check to see what they are using for the interface.
