I am trying to sort out for my wife, who has Office XP, and therefore Outlook 2002, how to deal with changing the default email address to use for a contact. I use Outlook 2000, and if I have a contact who has two email addresses, I can change the one that I send to by default by opening the address book, finding that person, open the entry for them and change which email address is designated as the default.

In Outlook 2002 I can't find a way to do this. If you click the address book button (1) the person with two email addresses is listed twice (2) if you open the entry for them, it doesn't open the old address book style we used to get, but opens the Contact form. You can display email 2 rather than email, but that doesn't seem to set it as the default.

Is there a way of doing this?
