    Win2K server

we're trying to decide whether to go with Win2K or Win NT 4 for MS Exchange and IIS servers. I know all the merits and disadvantages for Win NT 4 however Win2K is somewhat enigmatic to me. Is anyone here had some experiences (bad or good) with Win2K that might help decide between Win2K and Win NT 4?

    Re: Win2K server

I have been using Win2K Server to dish up IIS web and FTP services for our development in-house. The server is absolutely rock-solid and never needs maintenance.

The only hard part for me was getting used to the new IIS 5 layout - the location of some tools has changed, although not dramatically, and it actually is much easier to use than IIS 4.

Of particular note, the box has only 96MB RAM and a 200 MHz processor - and it behaves nicely. It's a very low end machine that never balks.
