    Combo Box Question (Word 2000)

I am creating a form that uses a combo box to select a month. My problem is I don't know how to enter items into the list. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
    Thanks,
    Mark

Re: Combo Box Question (Word 2000)

    Mark,

It depends on which king of form you are talking about.

If it is a fill-in form, and you added the combo box using the Forms Toolbar, right click on the combo box and select properties. This will open a dialog box for the Combo
s properties. In the Drop-Down Item: text box, enter the month names one at a time and then click the Add >> button.

If you are talking about a UserForm, in the VBE, then you will need to write some code.

In the Initialize event of the user Form, add code similar to this
    With ComboBox1
    .AddItem "Jan"
    .AddItem "Feb"
    '....
    .AddItem "Dec"
    End With

Thank you Bryan, I am just learning that I can do more with Word than write letters.

    It's a fun learning curve, isn't it.

You'll be pleasantly surprised what Word can do. And as you get further into your investigation, you'll probably get frustrated at it's limits too. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>
