    Editing .ADM files

    We are using user and group policies to set standard options for our desktops and in our office setup. The adm files provides by Microsoft are good but NOT complete. Does anyone know a good book or reference to explain these files and how to create or edit them??
    In particular, I would like to know how to determine the "ValueName" of the various option settings.

    Perhaps the MSDN online Resource Library can be of some assistance to you:

    You would want to look under Windows Resource Kits and then User Profiles and System Policies.
