Phantom name in email To (outlook2002)

When addressing an email to myself the program grabs an incorrect address JohnSmith@adelphia.com instead of JohnSmith@Adelphia.net. I inadvertently entered the .com as I set up the program. I entered a new, correct address .com - i cannot find the bad address in my Contacts address book to delete it.. Where else can I look?

    Franr

I presume you're referring to the autocomplete dropdown?

If so you can delete an entry if it is blue highlighted (in the dropdown).
If the wrong entry is not the first, use downarrow.

Alternatively, your name and email are entered within the settings for accounts. I presume this is the one you fixed?

It worked. Thanks. The Autocomplete dropdown-I had forgotten about it coming from there, I guess.
