Sorry it's taken three months to get back here people ; it wasn't until I checked this thread again today because I needed the info again that I realised I hadn't acknowledged that the information given was spot on - that Microsoft article said to run ACMBOOT.EXE direct from the root directory instaead of trying to load it through the autorun.
