    countif criteria (2000)

=COUNTIF(B$18:B$25765,">B16") returns a zero because it can't evaluate the criteria. How do I refer to a cell contents in setting up a criteria?

    Hi,
    Try
    =COUNTIF(B$18:B$25765,">"&B16)
which will force evaluation of B16.
