What application are you trying to save it in/from?

(Edited by bigaldoc on 15-Feb-03 11:06. Sorry - evidently Bryan and I were typing at the same time. Pls follow HIS leads. (AEH))
Sorry, I think still more info is needed from you. What browser are you using to surf the web? I guess what you're describing is: if you right-click on an image while it is in your browser, and then select "Save Image As," is that correct? Would you try that please on MY user picture at the left of this post, please and when you select Save As, tell us what file types are listed in that box. I'm thinking it's a browser setting, but I'm not sure.....

    Hi, Peter ~

    Please see this post first.

I would gamble that it has to do with the 'index.dat' files and their corruption and caching errors of Internet Explorer. I had the same problem repeatedly as well as other IE errors. I highly recommend Spider v1.16. Nary a one since using this and others have been met with equal success. For the sake of brevity here, please refer to I.E. 6 Error (I.E. 6.0) and then Cookie Invasion (IE6) as they both provide comprehensive details that will more than likely work for you.

If you need further help then, post back.

thanks for your response. Using IE 6.0....I did your pic as suggested and had the same results. Comes up with Save as untitled as a bitmap file only
