Can't find email files. (Windows XP Home)

Recently, we had to reformat our harddrive due to complications with the motherboard, but in doing so, we lost everything; luckily we have a backup file (Acronis), and it's on our second hard drive. My mom needs all of her old emails due to the fact that she is on a job, and needs her emails. I am trying to find the emails, but I just can't if anyone knows, could you tell me which file Outlook Express puts the emails in? (I think it's in like Documents and Settings/Name/Microsoft/Outlook) But it wasn't there. And secondly, could you tell me where Outlook's emails get stored also (not Express, regular outlook), thank you.

Go to search and do a search in files and folders for .wab And .csv files. Thats were you will find email addresses. You can then save them to a floppy and go into Outlook and export those files to your address book. If you need more help on how to export ,let us know. Also if you go to Outlook and the Help section, under Index find address book and it will give you a list of help of things and click on the one about exporting addresses.

    Outlook:
Emails etc. should be in a .pst
Personal address book will be in a .pab

    Outlook Express:
Emails should be in a .mbx
    Addresses in a .wab

The PST files are System files so you need to turn on the system hidden files to see them.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

newer versions of OE use *.dbx.... (and most outlook users only use a *.pst anymore, not *.pab.)
