    Hyperlink (Word 2000)

I created two documents - Named Document 1 and Document 2.
In Document 1 - I went to the internet and copied and pasted a web page into document 1. It had a hyperlink in it.
In Document 2 - I went to the internet and copied and pasted a web page into document 2. If I select the Hyperlink in Document 1 I want it to take me to Document 2. But it takes me to the Internet Web Page Instead of Document 2..
The question is, Can I click on the hyperlink in Document 1 and Go to Document 2, instead of the page on the Internet?

    Re: Hyperlink (Word 2000)

You'll need to EDIT the hyperlink. You should never try and edit a hyperlink by changing the text in the document; Instead, you'll need to:

Right-click on the hyperlink and choose Hyperlink, Edit Hyperlink. You'll get a dialog box in which (I believe) you'll need to tell Word you want to link to a file, and not a WWW link, and you'll have to specify "document 2". I don't remember if Word 2K allows you to specify relative or absolute links.
