Outlook does not go directly to Outlook Today (Outlook 2000 SP3)

    Hi,
I have recently purchased a new PC with XP Pro installed. I have loaded Office 2000 with SP3 and I am having a few issues. Does anyone know why Outlook does not go directly to Outlook Today even though I have the "When starting, go directly to Outlook Today" box ticked?
    Thanks,

I didn't know that check box was there! But, try setting it via Tools, Options, Other, Advanced, and set the "Startup in this Folder" drop-down to Outlook Today. It sticks on my W2k/Off2k system.

Thanks John. I tried using the Tools, Options.... method but it still won't stick! Outlook still goes straight to the Inbox. I changed the setting to ask Outlook to start in the Calendar and Contacts but again no joy.

    Any suggestions? Anyone?

    Thanks.
