missing button (2000)

I recently customised my Outlook Today (changed to the 'Winter' view) and now the 'Customize Outlook Today' button has dissappeared! Any idea how to get it back or get at the customisation screen another way?

    Thanks,

That was the icing on the cake for me, with Outlook Today (OLT). From memory, you may be able to "fix" it by finding the "res://C:Program FilesOfficeOffice1033outlwvw.dll/outlook.htm" file on your install CD, and copying it over the one that's cactus. But take a backup of what you've got first, in case my memory is flaky.

Because it all looked so promising, I wasted a lot of time trying to customise OLT, including playing with the "Digital Dashboard". But gave it up as a bad joke after discovering the "feature" you've found, and a few similar ones. I've ended up just using separate windows, with customised views, for each folder I want to work with.

Thanks Timo. Judging by your experience and mine I think I'll just forget it
