    Blank Subform (97)

I have a form that when it opens up, the combo box is blank so you can choose correct name from list. But, the subform has retained the info from the last combo selection. How can I get the subform to show no records when the main form is opened up?

    Re: Blank Subform (97)

If the parent form shows records and the subform is linked to the parent form using the master and child links, then it will show records. If there is no link, it will show all the records behind the subform, not just those linked to the parent form. You'll need to provide more information on how you're opening the parent form and how the subform is linked to the parent.

In addition to what Charlotte said, is the combo box bound to a field in the recordsource? If it is unbound, it will always retain the last value until changed.
