    Network restrictions

    The following error occurred while reconnecting X: to <server><share>
    I have changed the network card It seems to happen at night and on the weekends day and night. I have given them permissions for 24 hours and 7 days a week. We are using Win 2000 on ethernet I have reconfigure the system it was on token ring and win98.

    Please re-post: which error?

    Also: do user accounts on the server match ones on workstations (usernames and passwords)?

    Have you cleared to check against "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"? (Under Network Connections)

    Yes it is the same problem. What I did to resolve the other issue, I put their info on our primary domain. They haven't had the problem. The problem is now, it was happening to files on the primary domain. When they click on the icon they are told can't find file. Because they are not able to connect to the network drive where the file exist .
