Date event default

When I enter an event on the Date module, my Palm IIIxe sets the duration of the meeting, etc. for one hour. Since I mostly use the Date to remind me of things, I'd rather have a default time of, say, 15 or 30 minutes.

Is there some way to set this so I don't continually have to set the duration manually?

    Thanks!

I have been trying to solve this problem also and I haven't been able to find anything useful. If you figure it out please email me at frankmcn@pacbell.net" and I'll do the same. Thanks

If the solution is found to this question, please post it here for all loungers to read.

We'd like to keep the information flowing in the Question and Answer mode, rather than a questions only form.

Are you using the default Databook that comes with the Palm? Have you ever looked at Datebk3 or Datebk4 from Pilmco software? It's an add-on to the Palm Datebook that adds all kinds of configurability. http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/ I've been using it for a few years and really like the enhancements. And the money goes to a good cause, see the web page for more details (I have no financial interest in the company, it's just a great product).

    Re: Date event default

Datebk 4 is an outstanding product which I've been using for a couple of years now. It can be configured in more ways than can be imagined - there's a discussion group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pimlicodatebk/messages which will give you some idea of the incredible capabilities of the program.

It now also works quite well with Address+, a replacement for the built-in Palm address book, which is similarly much more powerful than the built-in.

Thank you for posting about Address +, I was going to look into that one. It's good to know it works with Datebk4 so well.
