    Can't Start Outlook (Win 98/Office 2k)

I recently loaded Windows 98 and Office 2000 on a brand new computer. Everything works except Outlook. When I double click on Outlook, I get the following message: "Unable to open your default email folders. Outlook could not start because a location to send & receive mail could not be found. To add a location, such as a personal folder, double click the Mail icon in Windows' Control Panel." This computer is not, nor will be, connected to the internet. I have tried to reinstall Outlook, but I get the same message. I have tried to add Outlook Express, but it won't run. It just gives the message, "MSOE.dll could not be loaded." Help! What do I need to do to get this Outlook working right?

If you haven't already, just set up mail with fake information, such as mail for the server names, as your e-mail address, and so forth. This should let you get into a PST file, and you then can configure the account so it never gets checked.
