Win2000 look for WinXP (SP1)

How can I give the Windows 2000 look to Windows XP (same colors)?
I need this to capture screens on different machines and I'd like to have the same look for all of them.
I tried to export a section of the registry from Windows 2000 and to add it to the XP registry.
The new scheme is now in the registry, but does not appear in the drop-down list.
I added it to several places in the XP registry, but I wonder whether Windows XP actually reads this data or has it hard-coded.
Is there an easy way to get all the Windows 2000 colors or do I have to place the two machines next to each other and adapt the colors one by one?

Have you tried setting things up using the "Windows Classic" look? This is under the Start menu properties and then the under display, appearance and select the "Classic"

Yes, I tried that. The look is OK, but the colors are different.
The gray of the Win2000 dialog boxes is different, the colors of the title bar too ...

You're probably only a step, or so from, what you're looking for. On your desktop, right-click, select Properties > Appearance. "Windows and buttons" should already be set to "Windows Classic Style". In "Color scheme", select "Windows Classic" and you should have it (after you click "Apply". (The "Windows Standard" selected as the default isn't "standard" for earlier versions.)

If that isn't close enough, you can use the "Advanced" button on the previous dialog to set it up exactly the way you need. It may be handy to have (bmp) screen shot of your objective open in mspaint, then you can use the "Pick Color" tool to check the exact colours to set.

I just wanted a quick way to "transfer" the colors from Win2000 to XP.
Of course, I can do it manually, by adjusting all RGB values, but that's just what I am trying to avoid.
I hoped to be able to get it automatically by putting the Win2000 definition in the registry.

Does someone know why it does not work when I add a scheme definition in the registry?
