    Click, click, click (XP Pro)

OK, I've got my new laptop, and have been 'selected' to be part of the XP pilot group. So I've moved from W95/Office97 to XP/O2000. So far the transition has been fairly smooth and I have managed to figure out how to personalize just about everything.

One thing is driving me crazy though. Every time I click - I hear a click from the PC as well as feel the click on my mouse. I can't figure out how to turn this 'feature' off! Can anyone help me please. For the moment I've muted the speaker, but would like a proper solution.

    Many thanks.

    Hi, Bowlie ~

Here is how to work around that mouse click 'tick' sound that is annoying you::<UL><LI>'Start' > 'Control Panel' > 'Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices' > 'Sounds and Audio Devices' > 'Sounds' tab<LI>Under 'Program events:', scroll down to the ' Windows Explorer' section<LI>Select 'Start Navigation' then clear the path entry in the 'Sounds:' box beneath that, then > 'Apply' > 'OK'[/list]
