Shortcut to create email (Outlook 2002 SP2)

How can I create a shortcut to go in my taskbar that will open a new email when clicked? I apologize if this has been covered, but I could not find the answer. Thanks from frigid New York State!

I found an easy way to do this. If Outlook is your default mail program, simply create a shortcut with a location of "mailto:". Do not include the quotes, but DO include the colon. This works like a charm for me.
