    Re: Insane Printing Problem (Word2000)

I would suspect that since you are printing in duplex, you need to have an even number of pages in each orientation.

So try adding a blank page 4, in portrait, which will make page 5 the landscape page

Insert a blank page 6 in landscape mode which will make page 6 now page 7.

    Page 1- 3 portrait
    Page 4 Blank Portrait
    Page 5 Landscape
    Page 6 Blank Landsacpe
    Page 7-8 portrait.

Unfortunately it's just a guess, since I have no way of testing.

Looks like this has turned out to be a driver problem.

Our HP 4050 driver has 'spontaneously' decided to go mental, it appears.
Changed to a 4100 driver and all was well.

Personally I suspect foul play on the part of the Network team...

    Insane Printing Problem (Word2000)

    Hi

In the words of the man with a wheel attached to his groin - "this is driving me nuts".

OK - so I've got a document with mixed page layouts.

    Page 1 to 3 portrait.
    Page 4 landscape
    Page 6 to 7 portrait

Like that. New Page section breaks after each one.

I print it duplex and all the pages after the landscape section flip top to bottom. So Page 6 is the right way up; on the back of page 6, page 7 is printed upside down.

    Veeery weird...

I've tried checking for document corruption. I've reinstalled and updated printer drivers. I've recreated normal.dot. No change. It happens in any document I create from any template.

    Anyone experienced this before...?
    Any ideas?

    Yours, nuts drivingly

    G
