move to/copy to for Win XP context menu? (Windows XP)

I couldn't find a clear answer for this...how can I add the old Win95 "send to x" functionality to the WinXP context menu? Is it safe to use the old Win95 power toy for that? If not, how can I do it? Creative Elements has a program that works nicely, but I really don't want to pay for it if I can do it for free! Thanks...

I wouldn't advise using a Win95 powertoy on WinXP. Are you just trying to add to the "Send To" drop down? If so, this is from XP help.
    --------------------------------------------------------------
To add a destination to the Send To menu
    Open My Computer.
Double-click the drive where Windows is installed (usually drive C, unless you have more than one drive on your computer).
If you can't see the items on your drive when you open it, under System Tasks, click Show the contents of this drive.

Double-click the Documents and Settings folder.
Double-click the folder of a specific user.
    Double-click the SendTo folder.
The SendTo folder is hidden by default. If it is not visible, on the Tools menu, click Folder Options. On the View tab, click Show hidden files and folders.

On the File menu, point to New, and then click Shortcut.
Follow the instructions on your screen

    Lisa,
If I recall correctly, 'send to x' allows you to copy the selected file to any folder. I have that option when I right click for every file type I've checked on my XP Pro machine. Now, I have to admit I'm not sure how I got it there. But I know you can enable the copy/move to any folder options using X-setup - one of the most complete, free tweaking programs available for several versions of Windows.

joeperez -- thanks! <img src=/S/clapping.gif border=0 alt=clapping width=19 height=23> THat is what I was looking for, to add the send to ANY FOLDER functionality to the context menu. I remember X-setup from the Win98 version, so I will look for that now. I can't imagine why MS hasn't added it themselves long ago!
