OE6 attachments (OE6, WIN XP Home)

(Edited by rsmawmaw on 04-Mar-03 13:27. )
I am familar with WIN 2000, not XP. My boss just got new computer, I'm trying to set it up. I have installed all Windows updates. Can receive & send mail using OE6, but OE cancells the attachments. I have lowered security to medium. He has to be able to receive attachments--autocad drawings. Help, please.

I just found the answer, myself. Finally have it working properly.

Hey, don't be answering your own questions. See the look on that on that Cowboys face. He was just about to answer that question and now he's upset. Now how on earth am I ever gonna calm him down?

Yeah , Cowboy might forgive ya if ya share. Other wise I may have to turn him loose to do his will. Meet his side kick, Deputy Shootalot.

Re: OE6 attachments (OE6, WIN XP Home)

In OE6-Tools-Options-Security I had to uncheck "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." This is not as secure---but attachments are a major, necessary part of our business email.
