    toolbars (2002 SP-1)

How do I control the toolbars that are shown in Word? Every time I open Word since it was upgraded, I get the "Review" toolbar and have to reset my View/Toolbars options.

Thanks for helping a VERY uneducated Word user!

Strange though it may seem, this may have to do with Outlook! See Woody's Office Watch from last October.

The toolbars are an amalgam of the toolbars specified in your global template Normal.dot, other global templates that you might have loaded, the template associated with the active document, and sometimes the document itself. One thing to note: if Word asks you whether you want to save changes to Normal.dot, try saying yes at least once to see if the change sticks. If not, perhaps it is caused by one of the other templates.
