    Mup.sys (5.1.2600.1106)

    Any ideas? I was trialing to see how an old AMD 500Mhz MVP4 m'board 128MB Ram would handle XP OS but it kept freezing on the install at a file named mup.sys. Any work arounds or fixes would be much appreciated

    Also found this: <font face="Comic Sans MS">Disable the BIOS/CMOS virus protection. It screwes up OS installs when they try to write to the boot sector and/or Master Boot Record</font face=comic>
