Folks,

I'm having an annoying problem: i have modified the partitioning of my HD and
whenever I boot into my NT2000 Pro partition I get a message to the effect
that the Swap file is too small or non-existent and that I have to do X and
Y to re-create it.

The problem is that I never get a chance to actually get to this point
because NT doesn't let me access my desktop (ie I log on successfully, get
the error message and back to the login prompt).

I have booted from a different drive and poked around in the registry. In
particular I have found the key

HKLMSYSTEMControlSet001ControlSession ManagerMemory ManagementPagingFiles

which was indeed pointing to a non-existent swap file. I corrected it but unfortunately to no avail (same problem).

Any suggestion - short of a full system install ! - welcome !

Regards
