    Excel 97 Forms (Excel 97)

I would like to add data to a form in 97, but I can't seem to set the properties right. I can send text, but not data (such as a pivot table). Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

Sorry, I don't understand. What kind of form are you talking about? A UserForm, or some controls on a worksheet, or the form you open with Data/Form...?
And what do you mean by sending data to a form?

    Hans,

Thanks for getting back to me...

A userform. I have a pivot table with data in it and I'd like to view the table (or just the summarized data) on the userform....

    Thanks..

    Hello Tango007,

I think it would be a daunting task to display a pivot table on a UserForm. A UserForm doesn't have rows and columns with cells; everything has to be displayed in text boxes (or combo boxes, check boxes, ...) it would take a lot of code to keep these synchronized with the pivot table when the number of rows and/or columns in the pivot table changes. But why invent the wheel again? Microsoft has put a lot of work in pivot tables in a worksheet.

There might be a way to simulate a "preview picture" of the table, but it would just be a picture. I've seen threads on doing this with a rich text controls; maybe that's the way? Depends on why you want this...

    Thanks,

The picture would work, I can add check boxes next to it to get the appropriate response....how do I load a picture of the table?

Check out posts by csf starting with the How do I do this? thread. I'm not sure it actually worked; it's not something I've ever tried to do myself.
