    What Is ITCNSERV.exe? (6.0)

I have Norton AntiVirus 2003 installed on my computer, and I just installed Norton Personal Firewall 2003. The firewall is now giving me very persistent warnings, almost every few seconds, that ITCNSERV.exe is attempting to access the internet. Even though I permit the requested access to the internet (on a one-time basis), the warning still keeps coming back every few seconds. Does anyone know what this program is, and what it's purpose is? Is it safe or advisable to allow this program to access the internet?

    Re: What Is ITCNSERV.exe? (6.0)

    Robert,
I did a search on the ITCNSERV.exe and only came up with one reference in Google, that had a link that was no longer valid. It did mention some files like msgsrv32.exe and mprexe.exe, which I think may messenger type files? I also did a search on my system and did not come up with any of the three files above. The next time it comes up, do NOT allow it to access the net, see if it has any affect.
I would also get and run both AdAware and Spybot, (mentioned many times in past threads). In addition, do you have any kind of messenger service running?

Search your computer for installed utility as "Microsoft SmartCard" "Tracking for uPnP" or similar.

A look at the cached page shows it's a system config dump, but probably not of much use.

Thanks for the replies. I have since been able to mine a little more information. The directory for the ITCNSERV.exe file on my computer that is trying to access the internet is C:Program FilesIntertrustInterrights PointProgramITCNSERV.exe. A Google search for
