Access 2000, combo boxes and if statements

I want a message box to appear if a combo box has no records in its list (on the open event). I used "If cboThis is null Then..." but Access no like.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

Nevermind. Just discovered the combo box listcount property.

Just in case it helps: "If IsNull(cboThis) Then" should work and may be simpler.
