Problems Sending Mail in Outlook (Outlook 2000 SP-3)
Windows XP crashed a couple of days ago after Norton updated their engine software. When I rebooted, the system files were corrupted. Had to do a complete reload. Since I have reloaded Microsoft Outlook including SP-3, even before the service patches were loaded, I could receive mail, but I cannot send mail. Prior to the crash, I had no problem with sending mail from Outlook. Is there anything I can do, short of uninstalling & reloading Microsoft Office 2000? Thanks! itsCarole <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

Re: Problems Sending Mail in Outlook (Outlook 2000 SP-3)
Have you tried running a repair from the Add/Remove programs setup?
Have you checked the email account settings (from Tools > Services)?
Have you tried deleting the email account and re-creating it?Leif
