    Changing the Palette Source (Access2000)

How can I "custom" the Palette Source in Form Properties. As I read from Access Help, the path and file name which I put on doesn't work.

Setting the PaletteSource property only works if your monitor is set to 256 colors (8 bits). Higher settings (16 bits or more) don't use a color palette, so trying to set the PaletteSource property is ignored.

Do you have a specific reason for setting the PaletteSource property? In general, you should stick to the Windows system colors (recommended, since that reflects, or should reflect, the user's preferences), or else to the colors from the standard palette.

If you want to do sophisticated things with colors, you won't get far in a 256 color setting anyway...

    Thanks HansV very much
I think I got what I want. Instead of changing the PaletteSource to 'custom', I am using my own picture (background) for the form by entering the path and file name into the Form's Picture properties. That's all what I need. Sorry to make you confused.
