Which email client to use in our church office

I am setting up our church office with some 8 PCs connected via a LAN and ADSL connection to an ISP.

I would like a common e-mail client, and Outlook Express - well the price is right! But I am concerned about security issues, especially virus attacks. I am planning NAV corporate edition.

What are the likely problems I might find? Does version 6 offer improved security to version 5.5? Am I right in assuming that I need to run the same version of IE and OE?

We also have Office 2000 licences, although still using Office 97. Is there a benefit in moving to Outlook 2000 over Outlook Express 5.5 or 6? Moving to Office 2000 is just a fair bit more work.

    Big question blue moses .

Maybe using a program that lets you read the mail on the ISP server & either delete , reply or OK it to put it on your computer is the best way to go .

    I use this one .

    blue moses,
Definitely plan on a good anti-virus program like NAV.
Don't depend on any security features in OE. It doesn't have ANY anti-virus security!! Both have things like 128 bit encrypting.
You can run different versions of IE & OE. So why not use OE? You didn't mention what Operating System you will be running? WIn 2000, Win XP ?
