    Export to older version (v2000)

I'm sure someone must already have a solution.

I need to "save as" or export an Access 2000 D/B (table, queries, forms & reports) so it can be opened by Access 97 user. I can export the main table, but what about all my forms and reports, all using various queries? How do I get them over to V97? Must the Access 97 user completely rebuild all queries, forms and reports?

Use the menu option Tools/Database Utilities/Convert Database/To Prior Access Database Version...

If you have used specific Access 2000 features, they'll be lost. The Access 97 user opening the converted database may need to remove or change some references (open any module, select Tools/References...; all references saying MISSING should be unchecked)

Thanks Hans. I would never have thought to look for a "built-in" tool to do the job.
