    Save My Settings (MSO2000 SR1-a)

I have been really dependant on MS's Save My Settings Wizard for preserving my Outlook/Office settings... but it doesn't seem to be working now... I get error messages trying to save to the server...

Any idea(s) or similar experiences? Any suggestions?

    Leif:

Usually if I run SMS, asks me to log in (email and password) then it creates a file(s?) for transport, then asks for connection speed, thn transfers the file(s).

Now, it goes right along, acts like it is transferring, and then says "There was a problem saving your profile to the server. To attempt to save your profile to the server again, click Next.

And then it just does the same thing again...

    ??

    Leif:

The Knowledge base says that this situation is resolved through use of the Microsoft Office 2000 Profile Wizard...

But where can I find it? It sems to be on the Resource Kit CD... do I have to buy this/something to correct this 'MS' error?

    Regards,
    Chuck

The Office 2000 Resource Kit's Profile Wizard is downloadable. On this page, see the category of "core tools":
