    HTML Page Transitions

    I am using IE 6.0.2800.1106 and am having trouble getting page transitions to work in my HTML coding.
    Here is the code I place between the <head> </head> tags.
    <META http-equiv="Page-Enter" Content="RevealTrans (Duration=3.0,Transition=0)">
    When I launch the page, the transition does not work.
    I have "Enable page transitions" checked in the options
    What's the problem?
    Thanks,
    Jack

    Re: HTML Page Transitions

    HI Jack,

    The only thing I can see that's different from another source is the capital "R" in RevealTrans...

    Try this:
    <meta http-equiv="Page-Enter" content="revealTrans(Duration=3.0,Transition=0)">

    (FYI: You can change the Transition number to generate different types of effects. See http://www.gifart.com/transitions.shtml for more info.)
    Hope this helps!

    Re: HTML Page Transitions

    Thanks Mark, but that doesn't make any difference. Could it be the browser, though I'm told this works in IE 4+.
    I've viewed web pages which use this code and it works fine but not for my pages.
    I'm off for a walk with the dog and some cogitation. Maybe something else will come to mind or to my inbox later.
    Thanks,
    Jack

    Re: HTML Page Transitions

    That's odd... I'm using the same version of IE (6.0....) and I have no problems at all...

    You mentioned that you had checked some display preferences in IE - maybe that's the key.

    Re: HTML Page Transitions

    As I said Mark I would go for a walk and some cogitation.
    It worked. I figured out the problem.
    I was putting the code in a webpage and running it right from Note Tab Lite. There was no page to do a transition from. So now I realize that for the transition to work I have to access the page from another page.
    Gad, the mind is a fabulous thing.
    Thanks for your input. It spurred me on knowing there was a way it would work.
    Jack
