Re: Emoticons & Smileys

Well, we have two very capable Gifmeisters, <!profile=Kel>Kel<!/profile> and <!profile=Leif>Leif<!/profile>. Then, there are several Loungers who contribute smilies they have created or found on the Internet. There are loads and loads of smilies out there. Do a Google for "free smilies" or "free smileys" (spelling varies) and you'll get lots of hits.

To get them in your message click on the Smilies hyperlink above the message text box. This will bring up the lounge's list of smilies. All you have to do is click on one to have it inserted with a specified tag. e.g., when you insert a smilie, you will see <!t>[smile]<!/t> in the text box and you will see once you click Post It. You can practice to your heart's content in the Test forum.
If you have an idea for a new smilie you can make a request of our gifmisters over in the Pix Place board. They're a little bogged down at the moment but they'll get a round to it eventually. If you do a search in the Pix Place board you can even get some great apps to create your own smilies!
have fun

I forgot to mention that by following various links from you both I found the following which looks pretty neat:

On another matter, I am really impressed with the effort so many folks put into monitoring the Lounge and responding to issues.
Thanks to all.
