    Hiding Objects Menu (2000)

    I'm trying to keep some users from viewing some of the information in a table. I can't block them totally from the table because they will be using forms that update information in the table that they are permitted to see. I have the security set up with everything else and I thought if I could hide the Objects Menu box so they couldn

    What do you mean by the Objects Menu box? If you mean the database window, select Tools/Startup... and uncheck the Database Window box. You should set a Startup Form here too, otherwise the database will come up with an empty window.
    The "backdoor" to circumvent the startup options is the Shift key: keep it depressed while opening the database.
