    Backup (Outlook 2000)

I have Outlook 2000 a one machine {WinME} at work. How can I back everything up to a disk to take home and put on Outlook 2000 { Win2000 }. All my new and old messages, drafts, tasks, calender, I guess what I want is to get everything from Outlook at work on my machine at home.

Look at the use of Export from work to import at home. You can select the different items, and export them separately and then save to a floppy(s).

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

I don't see anything that says Export from Work.

Use the menu File, Import and Export, Export to a File, and then I would use the Personal Folder File as my intermediary file for best compatibility. Import the file(s) at home using the appropriate overwrite options.

(Keep this up and your best option may be a PDA, like a Palm Pilot ... if Harley riders can use one without their friends giving them a hard time!)

    Re: Backup (Outlook 2000)

Some how I have lost everything I had on Outlook. I know it has to be on the Hard Drive and I think I found them but I can't seem to export them back. When this happened I had opened Outlook and a box came up saying something like I have to create a new folder. So I said Ok and now I have none of my existing stuff.
