In Access the red explaination mark which stands for (RUN). Is there a key combination that executes the run command?

There isn't a direct keyboard combination, but if you type ALT-Q and then R the query will be run. Note that the query must be open in design mode for that to work. If you are working with a saved query in the database container window, you can highlight the desired query by typing enough of it's name to find it and then press ENTER to run the query. Hope this helps.

Other options: Customize Toolbar button to display image & text, with "R" defined as accelerator key (see illustration). Pressing ALT+R in Query Design, SQL View, or Query Datasheet View windows will run query, providing there is no other toolbar or menu command with same accelerator key defined. The corresponding toolbar for each query view would have to be modified. You can also use AutoKeys macro to define a shortcut key, for example, CTRL+R. Create new macro (if AutoKeys macro not already defined), in Macro Name column enter valid key combo (such as ^R for CTRL+R), in Action column select RunCommand, for Command specify Run. Save macro as "AutoKeys". Pressing CTRL+R (or whatever shortcut is specified) in applicable context (Query Design, SQL, or Datasheet views) will run/open query. For info on valid AutoKeys shortcuts look up AutoKeys in "Help". Note that keyboard shortcuts defined in AutoKeys will override any built-in shortcuts using same key combination.
